The Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive (RXD) motor outputs quick and quiet autofocus and full-time manual focus override. This is perfect for both still and video captures. Additionally, the lens is compatible with Sony's Direct Manual Focus, which allows you to fine-tune the focus manually. Further, the minimum focusing distance of 7.5" and a maximum magnification of 1:4. 8 allow the unimaginable quality of closeup shots.
The BBAR Coating suppresses flare and ghosting and renders higher contrast and color fidelity in strong lighting conditions and harsh climates.
